What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. We also use similar technologies — pixels, local storage and tracking scripts — and where we say “cookies” on this page we mean all of them.
Your control
Under UK law (PECR) we may only place non-essential cookies with your consent. When you first visit ukcasinoplay.net you’ll see a banner with three real options: accept all, reject all, or manage preferences. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and the site works either way.
You can change your choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in our footer.
What we use
Strictly necessary (no consent required — the site can’t work without them)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
[cookie_consent] | Us | Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months |
[session_id] | Us | Maintains your session | Session |
[csrf_token] | Us | Security — prevents cross-site request forgery | Session |
[cf_*] | [Cloudflare] | Security, bot filtering, load balancing | [varies] |
Analytics (consent required)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
[_ga, _ga_*] | [Google Analytics 4] | Distinguishes users, measures traffic and page performance | [up to 24 months] |
| [add rows for any other analytics tool] |
We use analytics to see which pages get read and which don’t, so we know what to write and what to fix. [If you use IP anonymisation, Consent Mode, or server-side tagging, say so here — it’s a meaningful reassurance.]
Affiliate tracking (consent required)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| [network cookie names] | [NETWORK NAMES] | Records that a click to an operator came from us, so commission is attributed | [30–90 days typically] |
These are how we get paid. They record the referral, not your gambling. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Advertising (consent required)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| [list, or state “We do not currently serve third-party advertising and set no advertising cookies.”] |
Functional (consent required)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| [e.g. theme preference, region selection, embedded video] |
(This table must match reality. Audit your site with your browser’s developer tools or a cookie scanner before publishing, and re-audit whenever you add a script or embed.)
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by other companies, listed above. We don’t control them and their own privacy policies apply. Links: [Google Privacy Policy URL], [each network’s policy URL].
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking all cookies will break parts of most websites, including this one.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Do Not Track
There’s still no agreed standard for how sites should respond to Do Not Track signals, so we don’t act on it. Use the cookie banner instead — that we do honour. [If you support Global Privacy Control, say so here instead.]
