Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of ukcasinoplay.net (the “Site”), operated by Afflatus,

By using the Site you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the Site.

1. Age restriction

The Site is for adults aged 18 or over. You confirm you are 18 or over when you use it. It is illegal to gamble under 18 in Great Britain. If you are under 18, leave now.

You also confirm that gambling is legal where you are. Online gambling is restricted or prohibited in many countries and it is your responsibility to know your local law. Our content is written for a Great Britain audience.

2. What we are — and what we are not

We are an independent information and review website. We are not a gambling operator, we hold no gambling licence, and no gambling takes place on this Site. We do not accept deposits, hold player funds, place bets, or operate games.

When you click a link to a casino you leave our Site. Your relationship from that point is with that operator, governed by their terms and their licence.

3. Information only — not advice

Everything on the Site is general information for adults. It is not financial, legal or professional advice, and it is not a recommendation that you gamble.

We work hard to be accurate (see our Corrections Policy), but bonus terms, promotions, payment methods, game availability and operator ownership change frequently and without notice to us. Always read the operator’s own current terms before depositing. Where our information conflicts with an operator’s, theirs governs.

4. Affiliate relationships

We earn commission from many of the operators we link to. This is disclosed in full in our Affiliate Disclosure and does not affect our ratings or coverage, which are governed by our Editorial Policy and Rating Methodology.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • use the Site if you are under 18, or self-excluded and seeking to circumvent that exclusion;
  • copy, scrape, republish or systematically extract our content without written permission (see clause 6);
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or any server, or interfere with its operation;
  • introduce malware, run denial-of-service attacks, or use automated tools that place unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene or infringing material in any comment or submission;
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or to promote gambling to minors.

We may suspend or block access for breach of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, ratings, methodology, design, logos, graphics and code — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright.

You may quote short extracts for review, criticism or news reporting with clear attribution and a link to the source page. You may not reproduce whole reviews, tables, ratings or guides, or use our content to train machine learning models, without our written permission.

Operator names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification purposes only. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of us by them, or of them by us beyond what our reviews say.

7. User submissions

If you send us a comment, review, correction or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, edit and reproduce it in connection with the Site. You confirm the material is yours to give and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or break any law. We may edit or decline to publish anything.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that:

  • the content is complete, accurate or current at any given moment;
  • the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free;
  • any operator will provide any particular service, bonus, payout speed or outcome.

We do not guarantee any gambling outcome and nothing on this Site should be read as suggesting you can win. Gambling involves a mathematical disadvantage to the player and you should expect to lose the money you stake.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Subject to that, to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for:

  • gambling losses you incur with any operator;
  • any dispute between you and an operator, including withheld winnings, closed accounts, bonus forfeiture or verification problems;
  • loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss;
  • content on third-party sites we link to.

[Consider adding a monetary cap here, e.g. £100 or the amount we have received from you (nil), on advice from your solicitor.]

10. Third-party links

We link to external sites, including gambling operators. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, terms, security or practices. Check that an operator is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission before depositing — the register is public at gamblingcommission.gov.uk.

11. Complaints about operators

We can’t intervene in your dispute with a casino. Complain to the operator first. If it isn’t resolved within eight weeks, or you receive a deadlock letter, escalate free of charge to the operator’s Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, which must be named in their terms.

12. Responsible gambling

Gambling can be addictive. Please read our Responsible Gambling page. Free, confidential help is available 24/7 from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and you can self-exclude from all GB-licensed online gambling at gamstop.co.uk.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy form part of these terms.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. General

If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force. Our failure to enforce a term isn’t a waiver of it. These terms are between you and us; no one else may enforce them.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales], and the courts of [England and Wales] have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
